Sustainable Development

Since its creation, StrapMedia is a company that takes the environnement challenges into a great consideration. StrapMedia is working on:

  • Eco-friendly power management systems
  • New biodegradable material
  • C02 compensation process

StrapMedia is registered by the ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and the following recycling organization: ERP-France, Eco-Emballages and Screlec.

StrapMedia products are compliant with RoHs (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment) and WEEE regulations (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

We strongly believe that a close communication and collaboration between all the actors (Producer / Distributor / End- user) during the product lifecycle can trigger a sustainable developpement.

Nevertheless, without the help of the end user, we can not envisage a sustainable product cycle. The product recycling can not be done if it’s not returned to the recycling collect place or the distributor or the manufacturer. Besides, simple action like using rechargeable batteries instead of traditional battery has huge impact.

As WEEE producers, we pay government regulated third parties to collect and recycle electrical and electronic equipment on our behalf at the end of its life.

In addition, if you would like to return your player to us, we will ensure that it is responsibly recycled on your behalf. Please follow these steps:

  1. Remove the battery from the player, and consider recycling the battery in the normal way
  2. Pack the player in a protective envelope. In the European Union the address to return the player to is:

StrapMedia SAS – Recyclage
16, rue Moncey
75009 Paris
FRANCE
